What we do

We collect the rules from the Law on Foreigners (Zakon o strancima), government decisions and official pages on gov.me, and explain them in short, practical guides. Every page lists its official sources.

The visa wizard helps you fill in the official visa application form and makes a personal document checklist. You print the form, sign it and submit it yourself at a Montenegrin embassy, a consulate or a VFS Global centre.

Free, with no payments

  • We take no payments of any kind. The portal, the wizard and the form are free.
  • We do not issue, sell or arrange visas. We are not a visa agency and we do not act for you.
  • We do not submit applications and we do not book appointments.
  • We do not store your data. Your answers stay in your browser. We have no accounts, no cookies and no analytics. See the privacy policy.

The only payment for a visa is the official consular fee (EUR 35 for an A, C or D visa), paid to the public revenue account or to the foreign-currency account of the diplomatic or consular mission.

Beware of fraudulent websites

Many websites and companies on the internet sell "Montenegro visas" or charge extra fees for forms that are free. Some copy the look of government websites.

  • Nobody can guarantee a visa. Only the Montenegrin authorities decide.
  • The visa application form is free. You can download it from gov.me or fill it in here.
  • Official websites of the Government of Montenegro end in gov.me. VFS Global centres for Montenegro are listed on gov.me.
  • Never send money to a private person or pay with crypto or gift cards for a visa.

If you paid a website that promised you a visa, contact your bank at once and report it to the police.
